Typeface: Achieve
Achieve is a typeface with support for multiple weights and scripts. Inspired by the 70s-era look & feel of NASA, the face expands the famous style into both an upper and lower case, with symbols, figures, and enough ligatures & alternates to adorn a million mission patches.
Having worked on a number of NASA & space-related projects, I often found myself disappointed by shortcomings in “futuristic” typefaces, feeling they often failed to capture the vintage aesthetic of the NASA “worm” logo, which represents the wonder and optimism of the post-Apollo space program. I hope that I’ve captured a bit of that in Achieve.
